Those who acknowledge the standards are listed on the “Nice List”; those who have rejected or refused to respond to the standards are listed on the ;“Naughty List”. ChristmasMerchants is not the endorsement of a religion. It is the acknowledgment that the tradition of Christmas in America is to celebrate the birth of Christ and the spirit of giving.

Our mission is to preserve the tradition of Christ in Christmas and connect consumers with merchants who acknowledge that the tradition of Christmas in America is to celebrate the birth of Christ and the spirit of giving.

“Recognizing the season for the reason” is what ChristmasMerchants takes to heart, and invites you to take it to yours, too. Join us in honoring the businesses which acknowledge the tradition of Christmas by forming your shopping list with ours. Our “Nice List” will include the merchants who are willing to:

• Acknowledge that the tradition of Christmas in America is to celebrate the birth of Christ and the spirit of giving
• Allow their employees to use the greeting “Merry Christmas”
• Give “Christmas” a predominant place in their advertising

The “Naughty List” will be formed by merchants who reject or refuse to respond to the ChristmasMerchants standards.
